The event kicked off with the Innovation Award evening. Five Kardex regions “fought” to be the 2018 innovation champion by presenting innovative customer projects. As voted by the meeting participants, the host region Central Europe secured the trophy with the project "Charging Buffer". This is a solution in which power tools are stored in a Kardex Remstar LR 35 VBM and automatically charged while in storage.
Over the next two days participants explored corporate culture and focused on leadership development through guest speakers, group workshops and individual self-reflection. The supporting evening program allowed participants to experience the local flavor of Budapest, bonding participants through shared experiences while also providing time for mutual information exchanges.
True to the event motto "grow2gether", for the first time all areas of the Kardex Group, including the Kardex Remstar and Kardex Mlog divisions, were represented.
